Hall Visit

This past weekend, Berkley's parents, Berkley and Barbara, came to visit. We had an awesome time and fit a lot into the long weekend. We started out by going to Saguaro National Park, which is right up the street from us. It was really pretty - I think we're starting to see this desert as beautiful.... in it's own way.

These are the mountains behind our house.

Then we headed to the Pima Air and Space Museum, where they had thousands of airplanes. Very interesting!

Tanner even got to fly one.

We visited the San Xavier Mission. It was amazing!

A little creepy, but cool.

There were thousands of candles all over the grounds of this place. Tanner was fascinated and managed to blow a few of them out. Whoops!

We also went to the Titan II Missle Site. It's this huge underground silo where they kept this missle during the Cold War. The bomb on this thing was 650 times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb. It was amazing to see. Everything is still how it was in the 60's when it was built.

Our last big stop was in Tombstone. Very fun. A tourist heaven. They have really monopolized on this one gunfight that took place there. We got to learn all about Wyatt Earp and the wild west. Here's a picture of the gunfight re-enactment... Tanner wasn't too scared of the gun shooting.

Nice!
We had a great time! Thanks for coming! And an invitation goes out to anyone else that wants to come visit the exciting, thrilling Tucson area!!!

I love your house! Your kitchen looks awesome. Sorry about the heat and finger painting with yogurt...he sure is a cute kid, though!
