More trips

We took a few more little trips this month. A few weeks ago we headed out to CA for a long weekend. Good thing because while we were gone, our pipes froze = no water and we didn't have gas (heat, hot water) for 2 days. I guess it was pretty cold in Tucson. Glad we missed it. CA was wonderful, as always. We got to be there to celebrate Dad and Ryder's birthdays. We had a marathon day of fun with everyone: a ride in the orange balloon, endless merry-go-round rides, a train ride down to San Juan Capistrano, petting zoo, dinner at Ruby's. So fun!

We also got to meet our new adorable neice Anne.

Then, this weekend, we went up to Payson AZ to meet up with Berkley's parents for a little fun trip. It was great to see them. It ended up raining and snowing almost the whole time, so we didn't get to see much. It was fine with us, though.... we had fun just hanging out and Tanner loved playing in the snow.

Visited Zane Grey's house.... you know, the author.

Avery at 5 months (almost)

Avery had her 4 month check-up and she's chubby as ever. But, her weight and height were only in the 70's instead of the 90th percentile. She's such a good baby. She's developing some mad toe-sucking skills and even got her first taste of rice cereal. It was fun, but I think we'll wait a few more weeks to try that again.

Christmas in Vernal

We started the week off with a hayride Christmas eve. Very fun... but cold and tons of snow!

With Grandpa Hall and cousin Alexander.

Catch up - Thanksgiving

Okay, this is my attempt at playing catch up. We have gone on so many little trips and I feel bad about not "recording"them on the blog. We had an awesome Thanksgiving in Las Vegas and St George with my family. We got to play at Barrett and Lisa's house for a few days.

Tanner and Lacey were inseparable - too cute together!

Andrew and Caitlyn holding cousin Avery.

Since we were with so much family in St. George, we decided to bless Avery there. Berkley's parents drove down from Vernal to be there. It was so sweet of them, especially since Berk had strep throat and had a nice visit to the ER. They are the best!

Both Grandpas and Uncle Barrett.

It was sooooo cold there! Luckily we found this amazing snow suit for Avery.

After a great family weekend, the kids and I headed back to California with my parents.

Back to California

We just got back from another trip to California... we should just move there! It was great. We had lots of fun cousin time.

All the Hoggan boy cousins (except Andrew... we missed you!)

While we were there, we hit 2 pumpkin patches. Tanner got to go on his first horse ride. He loved it!

Tiffany flew down for the weekend to meet Avery. They bonded.

Avery had her first trip to the beach. Too bad it was a little too cold to dip her feet in the water. And, she just slept the whole time.

While I was in CA my mom's friends and Tiff threw a shower for me. It was so much fun to see everyone and I got so many adorable things. Thanks everyone!

Avery was a very good girl throughout the night.

Also while we were there, Avery started to smile. Now I have to get some good shots of her smiling! This is the only one I have... when my mom was saying goodbye.

It's always hard leaving California...
