Orlando Trip

So I'm finally back in town and updating this dang blog. We had a really great time in Orlando with my whole family: Mom and Dad, Barrett and fam, Carter and fam and Taylor and fam. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun and amazing trip together!

Pool Fun

Today we pulled out the pool that Grandpa Hoggan sent us. It was hot with 95% humidity. Yuck! Tanner could seriously stay in the water for hours. Talk about the best toy ever.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July. A bunch of our friends came over for a BBQ. We are lucky enough to actually have a big backyard with grass. Most houses around here have tiny backyards or none at all. So, it was fun to entertain... we need to do more BBQs this summer. Except for the humidity, good times were had by all. Our friends brought over their little pool for the kids. Of course, Tanner was in there all day.

Girls Camp

So I survived my time at Girls Camp! Overall, it was a great experience and I was able to get to know our girls a lot better. I've served in the YW in our ward for 2 and a half years and have loved it. These girls are amazing and teach me so much.

Soooo HOT!

So anyone that knows me, knows that I can not stand the heat. Yes, I grew up in California where the weather is perfect and occasionally it gets really hot. But, there's a beach to go to. Today it was over 100 degrees with crazy humidity. I hate the east coast weather. Tonight we went to a Family Home Evening group with some people in the ward. We were all sweating, but I had never seen Tanner get so hot. His face was so red and he was drenched in sweat. His hair also got really curly... wonder where he gets that. Anyway, you can kind of see the curly hair in these pictures. I love it!

Memorial Day

We had a really fun Memorial Day. We went over to the Howden's house for a BBQ. Good times were had by all... and this picture was just too cute. Here's Tanner with his girlfriend Bryn. These little baldies are so cute together. Tanner gets so excited when he sees her and actually gives her hugs, which is rare for him.
