OBX

This past week we went down to Outer Banks, North Carolina. We went with 6 other student families from the ward and Berkley's cousin, Sue and Mike came from Utah. It was so great. This is our 2nd year going and I hope we can make it back out there again someday. I know I'm a California girl, but man, I love the east coast beaches. We rented a huge beautiful house with pool, jacuzzi, and the beach right in our backyard. A whole beach with perfect sand, super warm water and very few people. Even though we will probably live in the west, I think we might venture back to the east for some good beach vacations. Tanner had a ton of fun playing with the 12 other kids. Good times.... oh and we had great sunny weather all week until hurricane Hanna came through on our last day. Luckily, it only rained in the morning and by the afternoon we were down at the beach.

Quick Trip to Arizona

Over the weekend, we flew to Prescott, Arizona to check out a business opportunity. It is beautiful there and a great community. Berkley graduates in May, so we are starting to think about where we want to end up. If anyone knows of a great dental opportunity in the west, let us know!









We also went to visit a ghosttown nearby called Jerome. It was pretty cool. It was also nice to get away and leave Tanner with a friend. Thanks Christina for watching him. It made a world of difference.

Utah

So the last stop on our trip was in Utah. We went out to surprise Berkley's Dad for his 60th Birthday. It was great! We surprised him and Berkley's two sisters and their families. It was a fun reunion to get together with everyone out in Vernal.


While we were in Utah, we got see our best friends from BYU. We hung out with Brett, Jenae, Danny and Melanie almost everyday back at the good old Y. Can't believe we have 6 kids now! We miss you guys!

From Orlando, Tanner and I flew back to California to spend some more time with the fam. TanTan gets so spoiled!

Orlando Trip

So I'm finally back in town and updating this dang blog. We had a really great time in Orlando with my whole family: Mom and Dad, Barrett and fam, Carter and fam and Taylor and fam. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun and amazing trip together!

Pool Fun

Today we pulled out the pool that Grandpa Hoggan sent us. It was hot with 95% humidity. Yuck! Tanner could seriously stay in the water for hours. Talk about the best toy ever.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July. A bunch of our friends came over for a BBQ. We are lucky enough to actually have a big backyard with grass. Most houses around here have tiny backyards or none at all. So, it was fun to entertain... we need to do more BBQs this summer. Except for the humidity, good times were had by all. Our friends brought over their little pool for the kids. Of course, Tanner was in there all day.
